Swiss Airlines is a Star Alliance member located in Switzerland that primarily flies to regional destinations within Europe. Swiss Airlines also flies to numerous cities in North America and select cities in Asia, Africa, and Brazil.

Swiss Airlines has a highly regarded first class product. Unfortunately, unless you are a top tier elite member of Miles & More, Swiss first class seats are unavailable for redemption.

How to search for award space on X:

To search for award space on X, you will need to use the British Airways website, which is a partner of X.

Step 1

Once logged in, select the Book Travel box and fill in the following information:

Select either Round Trip or One Way.
Enter your departure and arrival city
Enter your departure and arrival date.
Select the number of passengers.
Select Award Travel.

After filling out all the necessary information, click Search.

Step 3

Select the flight option that fits your schedule. Please note that the connection times may be as long as 23 hours, so look at the flights carefully.

If you would like to search a different day, you can click on the calendar to check for available flights.

Make sure the award you select is the Saver Award, as a standard award costs twice the amount of miles.

Step 4

Choose your preferred flight. Select the flight to see the details of the flight you desire. Write down the following information: flight number, dates, and cabin class.

Step 5

Call the frequent flier program you are trying to redeem your miles on and ask to speak to an agent. Once he or she is on the line, state the flights you’ve found available award space on and they should be able to book the award for you.
