Iberia long haul aircrafts feature fully lie flat seats in business class, making it a great option for Americans using their AAdvantage miles to travel to Europe. Since Iberia award space can’t be found on AA.com, award space is usually much better than what other AA transatlantic partners offer.

Iberia does charge a small fee for award travel redemptions. However, the fee is quite minimal, usually costing no more than $200.
