Cathay Pacific, a OneWorld Alliance member located in Hong Kong, primarily flies to regional destinations within Asia. Cathay Pacific also has flights to numerous cities in Australia & Europe, and a few select cities in North America & South Africa.
Cathay Pacific has very spacious open suites located in a small cabin with only six seats. If you are travelling with someone, seat offers the option to dine with your companion. Although not exceptional, Western & Asian cuisine are both available, complete with caviar. Krug is the champagne of choice. Turn down service provided, allowing you to convert your seat into a bed. First class passengers experience exceptional service, even by Asian standards which are set high.

To search for award space on X, you will need to use the British Airways website, which is a partner of X.
How to search for award space using British Airways:
Step 1
Log in to your Executive account on British Airways. If you don’t have an account yet, click this link to sign up:
Step 2
Click Executive Club then click Spending Avios
Step 3
On the Spending Avios page, under Choose your Reward, click Book a reward flight
Step 4
On the Book Flights with Avios page, enter all the necessary information for your trip:
- Departure and arrival airports
- Desired departure date
- Click One way only
- Preferred cabin class
- The number of adults flying.
After filling out all the necessary information, click Get Flights
Step 5
If you get a prompt that says Changes to reward flight fare prices, check the box to agree to the terms and conditions, and click Continue.
If a pop-up appears asking if you want to add a stopover for your flight, click No, I want to continue without stopovers and Continue.
Step 6
Write down any available award space; make sure to include flight number, dates, and cabin class. If you would like to change the date, you can click on the dates within the week or select the change button.
Step 7
Call the frequent flier program you are trying to redeem your miles on and ask to speak to an agent. Once he or she is on the line, state the flights you’ve found available award space on and they should be able to book the award for you.
